Dr. Kelly Johnston
Dr. Kelly Johnston is a Royal College Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with special interests in young adult hip problems; hip arthroscopy; peri-acetabular osteotomy; primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty orthopedic trauma.
Apart from our Calgary Surgical Centre, Canadian Surgery Solutions, Dr. Johnston is also an attending orthopedic surgeon at Rockyview General Hospital. He received his Medical Doctorate (MD) in 2001 from the University of Alberta and his surgical training in orthopedic surgery from the University of Calgary.
He received his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Trauma in 2007 from the Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. He also obtained a Fellowship in Adult Hip Reconstruction in 2008 from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Cory Wowk, MD, CCFP, Dip Sport Med
Dr. Cory Wowk is a sports medicine physician from Calgary, Alberta.. Dr. Wowk completed his medical studies at the University of Calgary. His sports medicine and injury management experiences include over 10 years of working directly with the orthopedic surgeons at the hospitals in Calgary (orthopedic resident extender) and 9 years in working as physician for the Calgary Fire Department where he manages many acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and challenges.
Previously, he received his first degree in education and taught junior high for two years before transitioning to medical school, where he uses his teaching skills in his practice. His team based highlights as physician include: Team physician 2017-18 Team Canada World Junior Men’s Hockey Team, Okotoks Dawgs 2017 baseball team, 2016 Hockey Canada Men’s World Championship Under 18 team and the 2014 Hockey Canada Men’s World Under 17 teams. He has worked with various other local teams in the past as well.

Geoff Cuskelly BHMS, BPhty
Geoff is an Australian Physiotherapist with an extensive exercise physiology, manual therapy and acupuncture background.
He is the former Director of Tower Sport Medicine & Physiotherapy in downtown Calgary.
Geoff is not only a gifted and experienced clinician, but is also a respected educator who has taught literally thousands of fellow-physiotherapists across the globe. He is passionate about soft-tissue treatment techniques for stimulating healing in the hip and through out the body.
